Camping requires a great deal of problem-solving skill from the moment that you arrive at your campsite. Families have to learn how to properly fix a tent in an open pitch so they stay dry and safe, start a campfire so they are warm and can cook foods and, of course, you can’t get lots of woods so someone has to figure where to hike and how to make a trail home. Other camping activities such as fishing, barbeque with music, hiking, kayaking and a good old-fashioned game of horseshoes also involve problem-solving skills.
